Cocking a perfectly sculpted (and perfected, by the way) eyebrow up at her response, Lavender couldn't avoid smirking slightly, thoroughly amused at her reaction. The smile, though goofy, was endearing. At least, that's what she had thought at that moment, moving aside as other students moved pass them before even replying.
Of course she noticed how students who had moved past them had stared, uncertain just exactly what made these two - who, aside from sharing classes together, had seemingly nothing in common - speak with each other. And they weren't half wrong.
"Out for a little walk?" she asked, the moment the curious ears had moved away, leaning her back against the wall as she smiled at the seemingly quirky girl, pushing her hair back with a flick of the hand.
Truth be told, Lavender wasn't the type to truly talk to just anyone - and it wasn't that she was conceited or anything to that sort. Though confident, she was the type who felt the most comfortable with her gryffindor peers. Not that she hadn't noticed Megan - far from it, truth be told. She noticed the curves of her body, the slight sway and her quirkiness only added to the attraction.
Though those thoughts might just be attributed to her lack of action as of late, she couldn't very well be sure. But she wasn't running away from this conversation.
