She saw his body go limp, gripping him by the shoulder, she pulled him flat on his back and looked to be sure he was out. She scrambled to her feet when she saw the slack look on his face and dressed quickly. She was sure she had a good thirty minutes before he came too but she didn't want to risk it.
Walking back to the bed when she was totally dressed, she stared down at the pale, blonde boy that had tormented her for so many years. After tonight she was the only one of the two of them that would remember what had transpired in the last week. She couldn't decide if that was a good or bad thing.
Raising her wand one more time, she spoke the memory charm incantation out loud and watched the flash of blue light emit from her wand and hit him squarely in the head. She had wiped pretty much the entire last week out of his mind, starting before their detention had even begun.
Hermione shook her head bitterly and left the room, wishing there was someone she could tell, just so they could perform the charm on her too.
