As far as Heidi’s parents were concerned, she wasn’t sure she liked that answer any better than what she had previously thought. However, she suspected that they were both right about Heidi’s parents. After all, Heidi’s mother asked if Tracey was one of Heidi’s playthings.
Tracey didn’t have the strength to shrug Heidi off. “How can you say that?” she sobbed.
