Heidi didn't say anything at first to Tracey's comment. She didn't know what to, she had thought exactly what Tracey had said. So she just remained quiet and ate her salad.
Watching Tracey as she told the story, she saw the look that Tracey tried to hide and labeled it as jealousy. A part of her wanted Tracey to be jealous, so at least she felt something for Heidi. "Safe to say, we never did get our pancakes." She ended.
"Yeah." Heidi nodded, taking a few more bites. It might have been her lackluster diet that contributed to her amazement at the meal, but it was very, very good. "Where did you learn to cook this?" she asked.
