Chuckling yet again, Heidi knew cartons were childish, but she loved them nonetheless. They let her have the type of childhood in adulthood that she never had as a child. "Yeah, they do sometimes, but I found a channel that shows american ones." She shook her head, "Who would have thought talking animals could be so entertaining?"
Finishing with the potatoes, Heidi stepped back and looked satisfied. She wasn't the best cook in the world by any means, especially considering her luck with potions, but she thought she had done rather well. Taking the potatoes, she placed them over Tracey's work neatly. "There." She said with a smile.
Biting her lip at Tracey's metaphor, she looked away. She knew that the subject would come up, but she was afraid to say the answer. "My mother never made me clean. The house elves did all that." Heidi said, skillfully avoiding revealing anything. Though she knew by doing so, she actually revealed more than enough. Still it was better than admitting it.
"So..." Heidi said, suddenly awkward and wanting to change the subject. "What now?"
