She noticed that he paused momentarily in his jibbing when she offered him a little help, should she maybe just be friendly and this whole thing would go a lot smoother? Somehow she felt a little thrown.

"Oh I'm sorry," she said, her voice just dripping with sarcasm, "I must have imagined all those girls that followed him everywhere last year when he was here." She stepped up on a lower shelf to shine her wand on a higher label to read it.
"I think you're all mouth and no trousers Malfoy," she laughed at him, stepping down and began her little steps towards him, he wasn't moving back and she wasn't going to stop moving closer. She wanted to see if he would flinch away from the Mudblood getting too close.
