Heidi didn't want Tracey to leave. She really didn't but knew it would have to happen eventually. Still, she was so tempted to ask Tracey to stay, but knew that would be an ill fated idea.
She didn't know what to expect from all of this. Heidi knew better than to hope for a second chance, not after all that had happen, though that was what part of her heart desperately wanted.
Watching Tracey move away from her, Heidi felt her heart drop at every step. Leaning against the wall, she barely kept her tears from falling and knew that the minute Tracey was gone, she wouldn't be able to fight the urge to drown out what had just happened in drugs and alcohol until she passed out.
"Will I see you again?" Heidi asked, not knowing how close her community service at the ministry would get her to Tracey.
