Tracey hung her head and tried to choke back tears with only some success. "It was…for a time. It was you…" It made Tracey doubt everything she had ever done in regard to Heidi. She had ruined a good thing and for what? Some pathetic job at the ministry?
She shrugged. "I had one person. But…you're right…she is even more paranoid than I am…was…"
Moving closer to the kitchen, Tracey leaned against the wall and hugged herself lightly hoping for some small degree of comfort.
