Heidi had to use every single ounce of willpower in her body to resist kissing Tracey. She was so, so tempted, but knew if she kissed Tracey it would only set her back, remind her of what she couldn't have and desperately wanted and make her want more.
"I...I can't help it." Heidi said, her own voice strained with tears. "It's like a...like some magnetic pull."
At what Tracey said, Heidi turned to look at her, somewhat stunned. "Almost over me?" she asked quietly. "How can you say you're not over me? You have no right to say that after what happened. I'm the one who's not over it! I still love you!" she clamped her mouth shut and turned away, not believing what she had just confessed.
"It's not like I was expecting or prepared for this either..." she said quietly.
