"I do." Heidi said, a rare sense of conviction in her voice. A part of herself hated that she still had feelings for Tracey, but she knew she couldn't help it. "Don't tell me what I can and can't feel."
As Tracey smiled, Heidi did as well. "There it is." She said, her voice still the calming, caring tone her Irish brogue always had when she was comforting her. "There's that gorgeous smile."
"I do mean it." Heidi said again. She couldn't resist pushing a strand of hair behind Tracey's ear. "I know I shouldn't. You don't deserve it and it's not returned, but I do."
