Tracey had assured that no one would ever believe Heidi but she knew it was a terrible time to say that. “You think I wanted you dead?” She sighed in total disgust. Did Heidi really think that little of her? Did she honestly think that Tracey would have preferred her dead to alive?
“You don’t want to be dead, don’t be a drama queen,” Tracey chided her. “Unless you really feel that way. If you do, tell me so.” She didn’t want to believe that Heidi didn’t care if she lived or died.
Folding her arms, it was clear that Tracey wasn’t going to tolerate silence or a joke as an answer.
