"I should, you're right. I should hate you. What you did was low, and wrong and horrible." Heidi wasn't going to pull punches. "But I don't hate you. I could never really hate you." She couldn't hate someone she still loved.
Heidi furrowed her brows as Tracey stopped herself from saying something. "What? What's not true?" Now she was curious.
Tracey's next statement made Heidi slightly angry. She turned towards Tracey. "Why are you so set on me hating you?" she asked, slightly hurt at the thought. "I don't want to hate you. I know it would be easier if I did, but no matter how I try, I don't hate you and I don't think I ever can so why do you want me to?"
