Heidi had to take a long pause at Tracey's next question. It was the elephant in the room, really. But as much as she wanted to hate Tracey, she knew that she couldn't. She still loved Tracey, after everything that had happened. Tracey still held her heart.
"No, I don't hate you." She said, as stoically as possible. "I hate what you did. The things you did, the things you said. But I don't hate you." She tried to keep her voice void of emotion as best as she could as she stared straight ahead.
"You deserve for me to hate you, after what you did, but I don't. I don't think I could ever hate you, as much as I want to."
