"Well..." Heidi shifted her eyes. There was more to the story than what she had give. "I was going to do that, play for both but when they found out about my...problems, they pulled the offer." It had actually been quite a devastating blow to Heidi, and surely the Irish team who would then have to settle for some chaser that they all knew wasn't as good as Heidi. "But I love the Harpies, it's great."
Heidi chuckled softly as they talked of Katie. "Yeah, she's in the running. Actually, I'm sure she'll get it. She's perfect for the job." Again, the captain's position was another thing that Heidi had lost due to her problems.
Rolling her eyes at Tracey's defensiveness, she could hear the lack of conviction. "Yes, I'm sure the cauldrons would be a disaster without you..."
"Oh, I'm sorry to hear that." Heidi said and was actually honest. Even with all her negative emotions about Tracey, she was really sorry. Her kindness won out.
The irony of Tracey's statement was not lost on Heidi. "Somehow, I can believe that." She said, some what bitterly.
