Tracey shrugged. What did it matter? Heidi was talented, it was true. "You're missing the point," she muttered angrily.
"Yeah, I know nothing about you. You're right," Tracey said dismissively with a disgusted sigh. "I know you put more money up your nose and down your gullet than you spend on anything else. It didn't take Skeeter's articles to tell me that."
"I wouldn't have to worry about it if…" Tracey shook her head. "Forget it…it doesn't matter…"
The gate was making her angry. Heidi being so close set her on edge and she kicked the metal gate impotently. She yelped, hurting her toe and hopped once before stepping back. She looked at Heidi angrily wondering if she had hexed it in some way.
The last thing Tracey was going to do was ask for help.
