Tracey's problem with money was simple; she didn't have any and never really had. Worsening the problem was the fact that most in her house at Hogwarts seemed to have it in spades. Heidi knew that, she was certain. Not wanting to answer, she let that part of the question go unanswered. "Make it? Please! You make money playing a game only because mummy and daddy had enough to pass onto you no matter what happened. Plus, it's your inheritance you are living on, even before you get it, that's supplying your lifestyle!"
Heidi's admission stopped her cold. She looked down at her feet as shame welled up inside her. Was that it in total? Was there more to it? Tracey really hoped so because if there wasn't, she had no idea how she could live with herself…
"Yeah, well you're one of those people who wanders into alleys and starts yelling like a loon." Tracey glanced over her shoulder. "That would have made a great story, huh? Disgraced Quidditch star yells at nothing in alley.
She immediately regretted being so cruel and had to turn to hide it. Pulling at the gate, it wouldn't seem to come open. Tracey struggled with it as she added, "You said you had things to say."
Tracey shrugged as she continued to wrestle with the gate, her frustration growing as she fought off tears.
