Tracey felt a grim self satisfaction as Heidi got angry at the destruction of her drugs. "You're rich," Tracey shot back. "Not like you can't afford to waste a little." She had never really gotten over her jealousy and resentment of Heidi's wealth.
She scoffed. "Forget about what?" Tracey didn't know if she wanted to know the answer though.
Her heart fell. Did she torture herself for nothing? Maybe it was a blessing in disguise. After all, there were some terrible things that could be said and likely would have been. Maybe it was best to spare herself?
"You had quite a few things to say before," Tracey muttered before she could stop herself. She sighed, the weight of it all threatening to crush her. Turning on her heel, she started to make her way over towards the door.
