"How can you hope that?" Ginny responded, her tone a bit haughty. "Since you don't know me, maybe we are completely and totally alike?" She really doubted it and had problems herself at the idea, but swallowed her disgust with such an idea to enjoy taking the mickey out of Sara.
Sara's honest tone prompted Ginny to answer the same way, though she did so without conscious thought. "Yeah," she sighed. "Me too." She'd had plans with Heidi to spend time with her over the summer. Now, she had no plans at all.
Since her family had gone to Egypt the year before, there was no money for a real vacation. She suspected that she would see Hermione and Harry a bit, but the trio would likely just make her feel even lonelier and like an outcast to boot.
"Where in the bloody hell is my book?" Ginny huffed, obviously annoyed, blowing an errant lock of hair out of her eyes.
