"What are you doing here then?" Ginny asked, a hint of challenge in her tone. If her reason was too lame and boring, Sara should be out doing something exciting and cool by that rationale.
Ginny shrugged. Sara was right. Plus, Ginny was Ron's brother and Ron was Harry's best friend and they were all Gryffindors. Ginny was not nearly enough steps away from Harry Potter to not earn some of Snape's ire. "He might," Ginny conceded. "Still doesn't mean I don't need my book."
"Too bad there aren't any around," Ginny quipped, wishing Sara had still been in her uniform so she could have flicked her tie or something. What was the chance that Sara would ever help her out? Slim and none, Ginny suspected.
She cocked her head to the side and regarded Sara for a moment. Ginny wondered if she could find a Prefect to take her in. That might work better. Under different circumstances, she would have gotten Hermione. But, she really didn't want to see her.
"Think someone from Snape's house might walk with me down there?" Ginny asked. She looked down toward the dungeon then back to Sara. It was worth a shot, right?
