Alice pouted playfully. Maybe if she made puppy dog eyes enough and batted her eyelashes maybe Bellatrix would give her a hint if not tell her outright. She stared at the dark haired beauty for a long time before she gave up. “Fine!” Alice laughed and shook her head. “Be like that.” She stuck her tongue out at Bellatrix.
Reaching over with her other hand, Alice began to rub Bella’s captured hand lightly. “My mum always said; cold hands, warm heart.” She loved that expression because it was just so cute. It seemed to fit for Bellatrix. It was hard to get thorough the cold shell that she projected, but she was quite warm beneath.
Shivering, Alice liked what Bellatrix was getting at. She chuckled at how fast she changed gears. “Warm things up? Well, we could get some hot chocolate?” Alice enjoyed playing at being slow.
“For the party?” Alice genuinely wasn’t sure if she was talking about that or now…
