Alice had been a bundle of nerves leading up to her weekend with Bellatrix. Because of it, everything seemed amplified whether it was the shaky feeling Frank gave her in her knees, the intensity of Bellatrix’s stares, the guilt she felt being torn like she was.
She tried to convince herself that she shouldn’t feel guilty. That she and Frank weren’t doing anything, so what was the harm in having a little crush? Besides, it wasn’t like she and Bella could really be together after school was done, right? They could be friends but they would both grow up, get husbands and have families. Bella had to know that too.
No matter how she tried to convince herself, deep down, she failed. She knew what she was feeling was wrong and that Bellatrix deserved for her to be honest. Alice just…couldn’t bring herself to be.
Besides, she really did care about Bella. Plus, school wasn’t over. Why would they need to end there affair? Unless, of course, someone found out about it…
Sitting in her bed, fully clothed in her favorite jeans, pink jumper and wool socks, she waited for Bellatrix to arrive. It still amazed her that Bella got into Hufflepuff Tower without any trouble, especially since Alice had never given her the password.
