Ginny was sick of the common room. She twirled a long piece of her thick red hair around her finger, supposedly finishing her end of the semester essay for potions but really not doing anything but fuming.
Harry, Ron, and Hermione were sitting together, talking about something. She bit her bottom lip and looked away from Harry’s profile, she couldn’t believe that they had blown it the way they had. Something had just felt, off… it wasn’t something she could really understand but she knew that he felt it too… he had just dumped her the night before. He was nice enough about it but it felt like her heart was breaking every time she looked at him.
The trio laughed about something and Ginny had had enough, slamming her book shut, she stood up and began shoving stuff back in her bag, her parchment getting wrinkled in the process. She was sure that Snape would take point off for that but hardly cared.
Leaving her bag with Demelza Robbins to take up to their dorm, she climbed through the portrait hole, ignoring the fact that it was mere minutes from curfew. She wore blue jeans that hugged her athletic hips and sat low, and a black baby doll tee with the weird sisters logo on the front in red. She didn’t know where she was going and didn’t care if she got detention. Sod the rest of her house right now, she was sick of all of them. |
