Who: Harry Potter and Hermione Granger
What: Harry needs a friend to confide in
When: July before 7th year. Saturday, August 1, 2am
Where: Grimmauld Place. Regulus’s old bedroom.

Harry tossed and turned in his bed. Sweat moistened his hair and his scar, of its own accord, was red and aggravated. Imagines, fast and indistinct, raced through his mind. The harder he tried to discern them, the more quickly they dissolved away.
Waking with a start, he sat up to find himself in his bed in Grimmauld Place. He could hear Ron snoring in his bed on the other side of the room. He blew out a deep breath and looked around. Reaching for his wand, he picked it up. The weight of it in his hand made him feel better immediately. Lying back, he tried to fall back asleep. After almost an hour, he decided it was fruitless.
Getting out of bed, he started for the kitchens. His black hair was mussed and his glasses that he picked up on the way out were slightly askew on his face. He wore a white t-shirt that was faded and very big on him that had blue rings around the neck and sleeves with an iron on Dr. Who image. It had belonged to his cousin Dudley. He wore a pair of Dudley’s shorts as well that were blue and a little short and tight; obviously from when Dudley was much younger than the seventeen year old Harry.
He made his way to kitchen first for some juice. Brining it with him, he began to wander the house. He wished that someone was up to talk to, but the house was dead quiet. Glancing down, he noticed a slight swell in his shorts. The dream hadn’t been all bad it seemed…
Harry tried to keep his mind off the things the male teenage mind was normally fixated on. The swell shrank to nearly-normal size when he saw a dim light from beneath a nearby door. It was Regulus’ old room. Curious he approached it.
Knocking very softly, he whispered, “Hello?” |
