Katie was anxious to get a chance to speak with Amber privately. She was upset that it had taken so long, it seemed really unfair to the other girl, but she just couldn’t find a time when they were alone. Amber’s comment about always being watched had made her paranoid so Katie waited for a perfect opportunity.
With their date only a day away, Katie knew she needed to talk to her. She was slow to leave Transfiguration knowing that Amber would be walking down the same hall as she was leaving Charms.
Earlier that day, she had been sure to apply light make up and took out her “dress up” glasses to wear. Katie had worn the uniform that she thought looked the best on her. It was the newest and fit snugly but wasn’t too small.
Seeing Amber, Katie smiled before the Slytherin noticed her. Despite all the awkwardness of things with Amber, Katie had to admit that she was drawn to the dark haired beauty.
Ducking off to the side, she waved Amber over as she neared hoping none of those nearby would notice, or at least care. |
