Tracey looked a bit skeptical, but it made sense. When they were together, Sara had seemed appreciative that Daphne and Theo were hooking up because that meant that Theo looked for less sex from her. Though, Tracey also knew that Sara hated that it made people think that it made her look like a fool.
“I…hadn’t expected that,” she admitted. For a Slytherin, she was really bad at intrigues and plots.
Laughing and shaking her head, Tracey didn’t admonish Sara any further. The fingers on her back sent a shiver up her spine. Sara knew what she was doing; she knew what worked on Tracey. Images of the afterglow with Sara flashed in her mind. But, because it wasn’t the spot, she didn’t want to make Sara spot.
Shrugging, Tracey didn’t have a response. How could she refute what Sara said? Sara had ruined what they had and she’d done it intentionally. She also seemed totally willing to be miserable to please her family. If not for what happened, would Tracey have done the same thing?
How had life changed so much in the span of a few days?
“I’m sorry too,” Tracey whispered, leaning into Sara’s caress.
Sara’s words made her blush. “Why do you say things like that now?” Tracey shook her head. If Sara had done half of these things when they were dating, where would they be now?
