Looking away, Sara shrugged. She wasn't sure how much she should tell, "she gives me the heads up about any gossip about me, I let her get away with shagging Theo. Stuff like that."
Sara chuckled softly, but didn't regret the move at all. "Sorry, couldn't resist." She said in a half-hearted tone. She loved it when Tracey squirmed. She let her fingers idly trace circles on Tracey's lower back.
Frowning, Sara didn't know how to feel about Tracey's pity. She knew she didn't deserve it. It was awkward, she had always been so strong and cold. "I don't think happiness is for me." Sara said sadly. "I always push it away." She thought of Clara, who she hadn't seen in days. "I wish we could have. But I'd end up ruining it."
Seeing the tear, Sara's heart dropped more. Letting her hand cup Tracey's face, she wiped the tear off gently with her thumb. "Don't cry. Please. I'm sorry."
Letting Tracey guide her to the bed, she laced her fingers with Tracey's, relishing in the feeling. When they sat, Sara looked down at their hands together and smiled softly, bangs falling in her face. "I miss you." She said, barely above a whisper.
