“I was simply being kind to an athlete of our esteemed institution,” Tracey responded airily. “I wasn’t the one that made it so…scandalous…” She smiled at her girlfriend, knowing that she hardly had innocent intentions even though she considered Heidi to have really made the first move.
Tracey sighed. “You’re probably right,” she conceded. It hurt her that Sara was the likely culprit. There was a part of her that though, even with everything, that she wouldn’t reveal her secret. They were enemies, but Tracey thought that Sara wouldn’t stoop to that?
