Heidi had been deep in thought and had almost missed Tracey's call. She had been thinking about Tracey's response. Her own response, she hated to admit, was a bit relieved. Relieved that it was over with and hopeful that maybe now she wouldn't have to hide and feel like a huge secret and that Tracey was ashamed of her.
Tracey's call shook her from her thoughts. Turning, she looked around for a brief moment before spotting her girlfriend in the shadows. Making her way over to her, as she got closer, she could see that Tracey was in shambles. "Tracey." she said, her heart breaking that the girl was hurt. And also, a small bit disappointed that Tracey was so distraught by the news. Like she never wanted anyone to know about Heidi and her.
Pushing those thoughts from her head, she instinctively moved to wrap her arms around the blonde in a comforting, protective hug.
