Pansy seemed amused by her reaction, she was sure it had looked a bit funny, she had gone vertical for a few minutes.
“Sorry, not really feeling like minding my P’s and Q’s at the moment,” she growled, still frowning at Pansy, “is it after lights out?” she asked, pretending she didn’t know.
“I didn’t draw it on you, just being alert, in case you haven’t noticed, we are in the beginning of a war, but I guess your family won’t have anything to worry about.” Ginny was sure that Pansy wasn’t involved with the Death Eaters herself but it was a fair chance her parents would be.
“To be honest, Parkinson, I have no idea what I was doing, I didn’t want to be in my common room and I had no interest in going to bed,” she shrugged, knowing that an excuse wasn’t going to get her anywhere.
She felt Pansy’s eyes on her jeans, she must have thought Ginny looked trashy or something, like Ginny really cared. She moved her hand away from her wand and crossed her arms, still waiting for her punishment.
