"Lisa and Gabrielle have drifted too far apart," Allyson sighed, closing her eyes as she felt the hands touch her shoulder. Relaxing slightly under her touch, she continued, "I need to get them together again."
Lisa began to knock on every door, except for the children's, not whishing to distrub them. Her knocks were insistent, spending more than a couple minutes at each door.
Stopping at the door Gabrielle was behind, she didn't knock yet, instead resting her head against the door. I'll never find her like this... Lisa thought, a weight settling on her shoulders as she felt the slightest touch of a tear to her eyes. Wiping them away, she leaned against the door for a couple more seconds before finally lifting her hand and knocking.
