Ginny had felt bad that she had sort of stolen Harry from Hermione but it stand to reason that he had been stolen from Ginny first. She knew that they weren’t together but it had hurt her to know that Hermione had started dating him after the way she knew Ginny felt about him. Harry and Hermione had had a long talk and Ginny had felt nervous about it but in the end she and Harry and Hermione settled everything and it felt like it was pretty much going back to normal… normal except the fact that Fred and George had cornered her, told her they knew she and Harry were dating again. She had blushed and stammered and Ron had thumped Harry on the back and Mrs. Weasley had made sure that the two of them weren’t in rooms alone together for more than a few minutes after everyone found out.
The return trip to Hogwarts was pleasant. They had spent time on the train back with Luna, Neville, Ron and Hermione, lounging in a cart and talking quietly about what when they would have the next DA meeting. They had thought about sneaking off but it seemed Ron had taken up the post of watcher in Mrs. Weasley’s absence.
Monday arrived and Ginny sat with Harry at breakfast but then they all made their ways to their first classes. She had enjoyed a thoroughly boring History of Magic class that morning and had almost dozed off in her chair. She and Luna and her friend from Hufflepuff, Miranda, were all making their way down the cooridor when she spied Harry. He grinned at her, she smiled back and broke away from her friends, hurrying towards him, her cheeks pink and flush, “hello, how was your first class?”
