“Is that so?” Clara mused, her eyes narrowing at Sara. “I’m not sure your memory of that is correct.” She was splitting hairs, trying to be coy for the purpose of fun. Sara had certainly made her moan. There was no denying that. But had she actually said Sara’s name in the process? Clara didn’t think so. She normally never said someone’s name at such a time.
Clara couldn’t hide her smile. “Really? What have you been thinking?” she asked, wondering if she would get an answer.
“I have been thinking about you as well,” Clara admitted, thinking it was only fair to be honest as it seemed that Sara was being. “Though, I didn’t think our next encounter would being with such skullduggery.” She grinned at Sara.
Sara’s hand on her thigh made Clara want to squirm. However, she resisted the urge for now. She didn’t want to seem too eager. After all, Sara had been playing coy a few minutes before. Again, it seemed only fair…
Gently, Clara brushed a lock of hair away from her eyes as she kept giving Sara a challenging look.
