Clara moved over and took Sara by the arm and led her over to the bench so she could sit down. She blinked as she told her what might have happened. She hadn’t thought Tracey Davis had it in her to do something like that. Obviously she had been wrong, if what Sara was telling her was true. “Sit as still as you can.”
Raising her wand, she began to move it in large, slow circles with the tip pointed at Sara’s chest. She chanted softly. The spell would slow Sara’s breathing and heart rate so that the poison would get into her system more slowly.
“There,” she said finishing the charm. “Do you think it’s a potion or a poison?” she asked. “Are you sure that it was Tracey Davis?” Her brow furrowed. Would Tracey try to kill her? It seemed unlikely, but it she had to consider it.
“I have a few things. I can go look,” Clara told her. “Sit still.” She ran off to her room and came back a few minutes later with a small satchel that she began to go through.
