"It certainly is." Sara agreed. It wasn't often that she gave out compliments, so it was true that it was high praise.
Chuckling, Sara shook her head, "merlin no!" she said the next part with resentment, "He thinks I'm so in love with him that I can't wait to get married. And he thinks he's clever enough that I don't know about him and his whores."
Clara's admittance made Sara do something that she didn't think she had ever done before. Blush. "Good. Because I really think I might be beginning to have feelings for you..."
Her face falling, Sara looked away again. "Maybe some." She confessed in all honesty. "But nothing like it was. Not that it matters. She hates me. And after everything I've done, we could never have anything again." Turning to Clara she smiled softly, "and I have you."
