She kissed Tracey back with her eyes open still looking around. Something was going on. Heidi seemed like a tightly coiled spring, though she had no idea why. Seeing Heidi’s disappointment, Tracey felt guilty. “Sorry.” She smiled sheepishly. “Without luck I figured Sara might be creeping around here somewhere.”
“Come here,” Tracey said taking her hand. Leading her over to the secret entrance, she quickly cracked it and got inside pulling Heidi along with her. Once they were both inside, they were alone in the old House Elf serving area.
Beakers, cauldrons, ingredients and other tools were crammed onto two small tables. The room was very small but both Heidi and Tracey could fit inside with a little room to spare. There was a chair that Tracey used. In the corner, there was a stool.
The room smelled like the Potions Dungeon but only stronger. There was nothing brewing at the moment, however. Smiling proudly, she looked to Heidi hoping that she was impressed.
