Gabrielle listened to Heidi as she spoke of Ireland. It was always exciting when people were passionate, it hinted to other things that they might be passionate about. “Sounds nice. Perhaps I should see it some time.” It wasn’t as if Gabrielle was denied trips that she wanted to take. Surly she could convince her mother and father to send her. “Maybe you could show me around if I was to go?”
“My family is from Tours,” Gabrielle told her, wishing to give Heidi some insight into her home. “It iz a charming mix of contemporary and historical architecture. We ‘ave lots of theater and parks. My favorite park is Jardin Park.”
“Zee buildings are mostly slate roofs,” she continued. “It iz very beautiful.”
“Iz zhere anything zhat you would wish to know about me?” Gabrielle asked. Surly Heidi did, it was more a prompt to ask than a question in and of itself.
“Only Quidditch? Really?” Gabrielle looked at Heidi confused. “I do a few clubs at school. And my social life, of course.” She looked at Heidi with a smirk, wondering if she might give hints to her social life.
