Heidi caught the bit of breath in Gabrielle's tone and grinned even more. She knew she was skating on thin ice, that being fed chocolate by a pretty French girl was definitely not something that Tracey would approve of her doing. But Gabrielle was so pretty...for some reason it was extremely hard to resist her. "I did." Heidi nodded slowly, still keeping eye contact with Gabrielle. "Very good..."
Seeing the way Gabrielle was watching her from the corner of her eye, Heidi smiled as she spoke to the elf. Even being raised with many of them in her house, she never once felt the need or want to order them like the others in her family or many other purebloods did. She didn't see the need to act domineering when it was so much nicer when she just asked. The elves were so kind, she didn't see why anyone would want to mistreat them, so she treated them with equality and respect, like she believed every creature deserved. She smiled happily as the elf eagerly nodded and thanked him before standing up and turning to Gabrielle.
"Good as anything." Heidi smiled and shrugged. She really didn't know what to say to the pretty french girl who seemed so refined. "Well, I'm from Ireland, in case you couldn't guess the accent." Heidi joked, knowing sometimes people that weren't from the British isles or Ireland would get the accents confused. "From Kerry county, originally. In the south."
