Seeing she had been caught, Tracey blushed. She tried to come up with any reason, no matter how implausible, to say in character but failed. She just smiled at Heidi and looked away briefly.
Sensing the game was over, she kicked off her shoes and climbed into bed with Heidi. The bed was big enough for both of them, but they had to lay close. Snuggling up to her carefully, Tracey regarded Heidi.
“I saw that before you know,” she said, looking down at Heidi’s injured ribs. “Maybe we should stop?”
