Heidi only continued to smile sweetly at Tracey. She knew that this must be new for Tracey, after all her ex was Sara Moon, and Heidi had seen and heard how cold Sara was. Heidi promised herself that she would never be like that to Tracey, no matter the circumstances. Tracey deserved so much more.
Figuring that Tracey had seen right through her lie, she decided to let it go and hoped that Tracey would forget about it by tomorrow when she needed to practice, regardless of her injuries. Her father had always pushed her through whatever ailments or injuries she had had as a child, so she figured that she could do just fine now. Though, she'd never had an injury as bad as this.
"You don't need to do that, Trace." Heidi chuckled as Tracey moved to help her, not wanting the other girl to think she was weak as she was lead to the shower. "I'm perfectly fine." She said and raised her arm to prove a point but her face twisted in pain, but otherwise didn't let it show.
