"Hey." Heidi returned just as softly, but managed a sweet smile as she saw her girlfriend and almost all her worries immediately went away and she was just so happy to see the other girl.
"I've been better." Her soft smile still on her face, but it fell as she looked away. "I let my team down." She said. That was what worried her the most, not her own injuries, but the injuries of her team and the game. They would have had it and would have been in the house finals if it hadn't ben for her. "We lost."
Chuckling, Heidi nodded and sat up slowly. Hugging Tracey back, she buried her face in the girl's neck and breathed. "I'll be fine, just a bit scratched up." She knew that she might be understating her injury, skelligrow healed bones, but didn't always take away all the pain. But she didn't want Tracey to worry. "Things like this come with the territory." she said, trying to shrug it off as she rubbed Tracey's back.
