Tracey spent most of the match pretty bored. She loved catching glimpses of Heidi and couldn't hide a few smiles as she looked at her girlfriend whipping through the air. After her incident with Sara, Tracey wasn't feeling too much house pride and the fact that Hufflepuff was pasting Slytherin added to her overall enjoyment.
She happened to be looking up at Heidi when she suddenly jerked to a stop in mid play. Unsure of Quidditch tactics and strategy, Tracey looked up confused wondering what Heidi might be doing. She gasped in horror as the bludger slammed into her and knocked her from her broom.
Tracey was going for her wand when Madame Hooch started to break Heidi's fall. She still hit the ground awfully hard. Her heart sank and she felt fear like she had never felt before. Most of the Slytherins were quiet and respectful, but she heard a few making snide remarks about Heidi.
It took all her self-control to fight off the urge to hex them all. No, she told herself. That won't do anything. You know better than that. Get them later and go check on Heidi.
Before she left, she saw Sara grinning evilly down at Heidi from the stands.
Tracey managed to fight off tears while insight of people. Once inside, she broke down and started to cry. She ducked into the loo to compose herself and to splash her red eyes and puffy cheeks with cold water.
Once the evidence was mostly gone from her face, Tracey went to the Hospital Wing to see Heidi. Draco and his lot were already there trying to get in. It was obvious why, to make fun of Heidi. Her blood was about to boil. Madame Pomfrey shooed them away.
When they were gone, Tracey tried to get in. But, being a Slytherin, Madame Pomfrey didn't let her in. It was maddening and she pleased with the nurse, almost revealing that she was Heidi's girlfriend. But, something stopped her…
Miserable, she waited until she saw Heidi move out of the Hospital Wing. She almost ran over to her, but Madame Pomfrey was looking. Not wanting to deal with her, Tracey waited and because of that lost Heidi.
It took her a while to figure out where she was. After a quick stop back at her dorm, she knocked lightly at the Locker Room door still dressed in her long cloak with her Slytherin scarf around her neck and her hair loose over her shoulders. Beneath, she wore her favorite jeans and comfy black sweater.
