Clara liked the moan that Sara made. It seemed she liked the idea of sixty-nine’ing with her. Grinning, she was beginning to think that they would be doing the first and not that latter. That soon changed.
“Before you arrived at the library,” Clara began, “nothing.” She paused briefly. “I heard you talking to someone so I came over while I was waiting near the loo. I saw and heard you talking to Heidi Macavoy. I think that I heard most of it. But, I know that I did miss the beginning of it,” Clara explained.
“I am sorry if I intruded. I was coming to see if I might help get you out of a sticky situation,” Clara told her. “I was certainly not going to give up a chance for this after what we did in the library,” she joked, not wanting to seem to sentimental or having Sara think that Clara felt the need to save her.
