Sara remained silent as she tried to form a response that didn't give her away. But a part of her wanted to let herself flirt but was still apprehensive. "No, I don't, consider yourself lucky." She spoke calmly, figuring that if her tone wasn't flirtatious, it might water down her comments, still not totally trusting Clara. "No reason." She shrugged.
Eyes widening at Clara's questions and softened expression. She looked down. Opening her mouth, she was going to say something but closed it again. She felt as though she had been caught. "I don't want to marry Theo. I don't like him let alone love him." She stated, though that much was clear by this point. "I don't want to marry period."
Her eyes lifted to Clara's, filled with discontent for her entire situation. She felt like she was as good as already figured out by Clara and she was too tired to deny it anymore. "I keep telling myself it'll work out, that I'll learn to love him, but it won't because I just don't want a man in my life."
