Sara only nodded and took the agreement. She wouldn't let Theo outdo her. If he was going to have lovers, she damn well was too. And more than him which was only one or two at the moment, so she didn't have to worry to much about it. BUt she promised herself that if she had to live with him, she wouldn't become on of those submissive girls that can't even think for themselves. No, she was much to dignified for that.
Shifting only slightly in her seat, Sara tried her best to play it off with grace. She shrugged. "You're rather attractive is all." she spoke softly. She wasn't used to giving compliments so it came off as just an observation, or she tried to make it sound like one.
"Hm." Sara looked almost sadly as she thought about the matter. She tried not to lie to herself, but sometimes that was the only solution she could think of. At night when she couldn't sleep, she'd try and tell herself that things won't be so bad. She could have a mistress, Theo would get better. That she could learn to love him. But she knew that that was all rubbish. It seemed to her that the life planned out for her wasn't a happy one for her, even if it was a comfortable one. "I think that people who lie to themselves usually have no other option. It's the only way they can get past the truths." She sighed softly, "But then again, I don't think truths like those, where you have to lie to yourself, can ever really become lies. The truth is always the truth, lies always lies, no matter how much they try and forget that."
