Clara jumped at the sound of a book hitting the table. Looking up, she glared angrily. She considered saying something, but the other girl didn’t seem to be making anymore noise.
She regarded the girl for a moment. Even without her house heraldry, Clara would have recognized her. Though, it was odd to see Sara Moon in the library. To the best of her knowledge, Clara had never seen Sara there.
It was clear that Miss Moon was in quite a mood. Not that such a thing was unheard of. Sara had quite a reputation around the house. However, being a year older, Clara didn’t have too much first had experience with.
Clara looked back at her book. “You know,” she mused softly, “if you are going to practice pyrokinesis, the library might not be the best place.” Clara began to nibble at the end of her quill once more.
