Tracey pondered. “Well, I think Ginny might help us convince Katie,” she mused quietly. It seemed that Ginny being a total slag would help Tracey in this particular case. It only seemed fair that it would do something she wanted and Ginny had helped cause her so much pain. Not wanting to dwell on it, Tracey pushed it from her mind.
“I wasn’t so much thinking of asking,” Tracey admitted, her Slytherin side coming out.
Moving away from Heidi, she crept towards the wall. “Katie! Katie!” she whispered loudly, putting a very convincing urgency in her tone. Almost immediately she head a bit of fumbling around then silence.
“Someone is coming…you guys might want to get out of here,” Tracey continued in the same tone. “You can…follow me and Trace if you want…” She bit her bottom lip, hoping they the two girls would.
She heard hushed voices, but couldn’t make out what they were saying. “Ok,” she heard Ginny answer. A few moments later the two girls emerged, just a few seconds after Tracey took down the wards. Katie was blushing furiously, but Ginny was wearing a smirk.
After noticing they looked a little disheveled, Tracey moved to the door and made her way out. Happy that Katie and Ginny seemed to be following discreetly, she lead them in a very round about fashion to the Room of Requirement.
Thinking about what she wanted, she paced back and forth a few times. The large wooden door was there when she looked back. Nervously, she looked around but no one seemed to be around.
Stepping inside, the room was dim around the edges but a lot brighter near the bed in the center of the room. Not far away was a plush love seat that sat much higher than the bed. Coincidentally, a perfect vantage point…
Moving to the couch quickly, she almost dragged Heidi along and sat down. “Sorry we…interrupted you,” Tracey said to Katie. “I just…figured it was better than…” She shrugged again.
“Thanks,” Katie murmured. “I…thought you two had left. I guess it was good that you didn’t.”
Tracey looked to Heidi. It would be best for her to talk to Ginny. Maybe break the ice a little…
