"Exactly!" Sara laughed in agreement. She couldn't think of the last time she had shared a good laugh. "At least Snape doesn't baby us." She thought that it was always particularly disgusting how the Gryffindors got special treatment. Sara was not a huge Gryffindor fan. Or any other house for that matter. "She babys them. Everyone does." Flicking her hair over her shoulder, she folder her arms across her chest. "That half-breed Hagrid does. And even Dumbledore treats them like there the best."
Sara used her little rant to distract herself from the eyes on her, and from having her eyes on Tracey. Standing straight again and letting her hands fall to her sides, she turned to the rats again, silently naming each of them in her head ridiculous names.
Giving a very less than approving noise at the mudblood's name, she had to agree. "She's a bloody dirty show-off, she is." Okay, Sara might still be bitter about fourth year charms when Granger had showed her up in front of the entire class. But really, she was a show-off, no one needs to answer that many questions just for the hell of it.
"Consider yourself lucky then." Sara chuckled softly, a bit envious that Tracey didn't have to worry about giving her attentions to anyone she didn't want to. Wish her attentions would fall on me-no, shut UP, Moon...She has nice eyes..."Enjoy your freedom while you can."
Trying not to blush, Sara merely mumbled her thanks and let her bangs fall in her face to hide the pink tint.
"Yeah." Sara grinned. Tracey was a nice change from her regular group of friends, the ones near the top of the Slytherin food chain. "All Theo ever talks about is Theo and Daphne is a bit ditzy." Unlike her friends, Sara didn't keep up with the exact blood status of everyone and use that to determine their friends. As long as you weren't a mudblood or a half-breed (Well, A Veela mix might be an exception, Sara remembered the rumors about Fleur Delacour last year and that didn't sway her away from looking at the beauty any) you were okay with her.
