Lavender practically purred as Fleur stroked her lower back. The feel of her fingers on Lavender’s bare skin made it even harder to keep a hold on what she wanted to say. Smiling dreamily, she looked at Fleur. Again, she had the impulse to tell Fleur how she felt about her, but Lavender stopped herself.
“Jealous? Really?” Lavender had no siblings, so she really couldn’t relate. Had Padma been like that when Parvati had become her best friend first year? Lavender knew that she likely wouldn’t have noticed at that age.
“Parvati isn’t usually so…” Lavender shrugged. “I mean…she likes girls, sort of. Mostly from the waist up.” She giggled, not sure if Fleur got it. “But…I think she might actually be attracted to your sister. Wouldn’t that be weird if they started dating?”
Lavender blushed furiously. “Yeah…it is.” She took Fleur’s hand and kissed it, pausing to try and get herself together. “I think about you a lot. And, I think Parvati wants to choke me sometimes since I talk about you so much.”
“I told my mom that I was bringing someone else to Paris with me, another friend from school. I thought that would be safer since my family knows Vati and in case anyone saw us at the hotel. This way, if it gets back to my mum, she wouldn’t think it was weird.”
“I said you used to go to Beauxbatons,” Lavender added with a giggle.
