From the moment Harry had stepped into the Auror offices the place had been buzzing, both with irritation and amusement. Unsure what was going on, he'd stopped by one of the Auror's desks and asked what the bloody hell was going on. The story had gradually unfolded about an unknown individual slipping a potion into a supply of Firewhiskey the night before, effectively swapping the gender of anyone who consumed it. There was an investigation going regarding the identity of said individual as no one seemed to be quiet sure the lasting effects of the potion or even how long it was meant to last. By the end of it, he was pretty sure he'd never been so glad not to be a drinker. He was short enough as he was, he really didn't want breasts to go along with it.
He didn't spare the ordeal much thought after that, as he had his own busy schedule for the day. He had two separate appearances in front of the Wizengamot later that afternoon. Two separate trials were scheduled to take place that day, both of which Harry had been the acting Auror during the arrest, which meant he was obligated to arrive and answer any questions regarding the specifics filed in his report. It was a tedious and often frustrating aspect of the job, but it was one he couldn't avoid.
Always more comfortable in Muggle styles than Wizarding, Harry was currently dressed appropriately for said appearances, his official Auror Robe casualy worn over top of his clothing, left open for the time being. It was a good combination and drew appreciative glances from time to time, which Harry was naturally oblivious to. Whether or not he was aware of it, Harry could clean up rather nicely if the occasion called for it. It was a shame, really, that it didn't happen more often.
With only an hour or so before the first trial was going to start, Harry made his way from the Auror's office as he started to make the trip down to the courtrooms on the tenth level. With plenty of time to get there, he wasn't worried about hurrying. He would need to make a brief stop at the Department of Mysteries to clarify a statement made in one of the files, but it would only take a moment or so. Waiting for the lift, he started to read through some of the notes to familiarize himself with what had happened. It had been weeks ago he'd worked on this case and he wanted to make sure his testament was spot on. When the doors finally opened, Harry automatically stepped in, his eyes never leaving the file in his hands and missing the fact that there was another occupant already on the lift.
