"But that doesn't mean he's changed." Betty remembered what happened in New York all those months ago. She hadn't been here when he invaded with that army, but it was impossible not to know about what was happening. The entire country was in a panic, especially after the show in Germany. Loki was a dangerous man with an unstable mind. And they were all living under the same roof with him now. "Is it really safe to have him in there with us?"
"It's been a long time since we've had the chance to talk. I think... I think the last time I saw him was back in 2008, and I only heard from him once after that." Betty's hand went to the necklace she wore, the one Bruce had sent back to her. "He's always been a little hesitant to talk to me since what happened, I think he still feels a little guilty."
The scar on her forehead was a reminder of what could happen if he ever lost control like he had that first time, but Betty had more faith in Bruce even with his violent transformation, than she had in anything else. She trusted him, and she was never really afraid of him, even if she should be.
"I'll go see him after we've managed to catch up. I think that would be the easiest," she said with a smile. "So, aside from all this craziness, what have you been up to? And how's Tony?"
